Estimating Disclaimer
SureSquare provides roofing takeoff and estimating services intended solely for estimating and bidding purposes. By using our services, you acknowledge and agree to the following disclaimer.
1. Purpose of Deliverables
All takeoffs, quantity summaries, and estimates prepared by SureSquare are provided to assist with project estimating only.
They are not:
- Construction documents
- Shop drawings
- Installation guides
- A guarantee of final material quantities or costs
2. No Field Verification
SureSquare does not:
- Visit job sites
- Verify existing conditions
- Confirm measurements in the field
- Validate constructability
All work is based exclusively on the plans, drawings, specifications, and information provided by the client.
3. Plan Accuracy & Completeness
SureSquare is not responsible for:
- Errors or omissions in plans or specifications
- Conflicting or unclear drawings
- Missing details
- Addenda issued after submission unless specifically provided
Clients are responsible for reviewing plans and ensuring all relevant documents are submitted.
4. Quantity Variations
Actual installed quantities may vary due to:
- Field conditions
- Waste
- Installation methods
- Design changes
- Manufacturer requirements
SureSquare shall not be liable for differences between estimated quantities and actual quantities used during construction.
5. Contractor Responsibility
The client remains solely responsible for:
- Final pricing
- Material ordering
- Labor calculations
- Means and methods of construction
- Code compliance
- Safety requirements
SureSquare does not assume responsibility for project outcomes.
6. No Warranty or Guarantee
SureSquare does not provide warranties or guarantees regarding:
- Bid success
- Profitability
- Material performance
- Final project costs
All services are provided “as is” for estimating support only.
7. Acceptance of Deliverables
By using or relying on SureSquare deliverables, the client acknowledges:
- The estimating nature of the work
- The limitations outlined in this disclaimer
- Acceptance of responsibility for final decisions
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SureSquare’s liability related to estimating services shall be limited as outlined in the Terms of Service and shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service provided.
